Iron Mountain Incorporated® (NYSE:IRM), the global leader in storage and information management services, announced today that Theresa Pattara has joined the company as vice president of North America Government Affairs. In this role, Pattara will drive Iron Mountain’s company-wide government engagement strategy and serve as an advocate for the company’s interests with local, state and federal agencies and policy makers. She will also monitor legislation involving tax reform, information privacy and data security – issues of importance to Iron Mountain.

Pattara has spent the past 20 years of her career focused on public policy and compliance. She most recently served as the senior director of Public Policy and Advocacy for H&R Block, advising the company’s senior leadership on current and pending federal legislation and regulations. Along with her private sector experience, Pattara has held positions with the federal government as well, including the U.S. Department of Justice, the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance.

Pattara holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, a bachelor of science in Accounting from the University of Scranton, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
