OREANDA-NEWS. Due to the sharp deterioration of weather conditions on the night of 18 to 19 April (abundant precipitation in the form of rain and wet snow, strong wind), a special operating mode was introduced by IDGC of Centre’s Crisis Management Centre in the branches of Belgorodenergo and Voronezhenergo.

At present, the energy sector is taking a set of preventive measures aimed at preventing the negative consequences of the unrest of the elements.

In these branches, 701 crews are ready for emergency and restoration operations, including 45 repair crews with increased mobility, consisting of 295 people and 99 vehicles. If necessary, IDGC of Centre can draw all its own forces, consisting of 1,647 crews, 8,378 people, 3,200 motor and specialized vehicles, as well as contractors’ resources.

IDGC of Centre’s Contact Centre receives round-the-clock calls from citizens via the single direct number of power engineers.

The branches have a special control over the functioning of power facilities, work of their crisis management centres and information exchange with territorial units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and executive authorities were organized.
