OREANDA-NEWS. IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo summed up the results of the contest "Cartoons for electricity", organized in the framework of measures to prevent children’s electric injuries. The contest was held from May to December 2017, pupils from grades 5-10 of the Bryansk region were invited to participate.

The children were offered using computer programs to create cartoons on the topic of electrical safety lasting up to one minute. The work was evaluated by the commission, which included employees of Bryanskenergo. The main evaluation criteria were the relevance of the cartoons to the topic, the completeness and correctness of the information.

The contest aroused great interest among schoolchildren in the region, dozens of works were presented to it. As a result, the first place was taken by the work "Advice of Electronik" from Poliana Gutorova, a pupil of school №76 in Bryansk, where her cartoon character tells about the rules of handling electrical appliances. The second place went to the cartoon "Electrical safety" of a pupil of Bryansk school № 1, where the verse explains what can be dangerous with electricity with careless handling. The third is for the "Cartoon about electricity" of a pupil of Bryansk City Lyceum №1 named after A.S. Pushkin Sophia Kokhmanskaya: her protagonist, Smesharik, recalls the consequences, which can lead to non-compliance with the rules of electrical safety.

A special prize for the most successful design execution went to the work "Electricity jokes are bad!" of a pupil of Gymnasium №5 in Bryansk Vadim Zaitsev. All winners of the contest will be awarded diplomas and prizes.
