OREANDA-NEWS  If the West, led by the United States, imposes restrictions on oil prices from Russia, this will not deprive it of raw material revenues, but will increase them, said Oil Price columnist Irina Slav.

The author recalled that Moscow warned against the introduction of a price ceiling and warned about the termination of supplies to countries that supported this measure. Slav called this answer predictable.

In the European Union, disputes about the ceiling level continue. The observer questioned the expediency of the bar at 65-70 dollars per barrel. In the G7, this mark is considered optimal in order to avoid a deficit by preserving Russian exports, but this statement goes against Moscow's statements.
