OREANDA-NEWS  The A-289 highway (Krasnodar — Slavyansk-on-Kuban — Temryuk — Novorossiysk-Kerch highway A—290) will become toll-free from April 22, 2025. The fare was disclosed in the press service of Avtodor Group of Companies, which took over the highway.

"Since December 2024, the road has been operated free of charge and has been equipped to provide infrastructure services to users. Starting from April 22, 2025, the road will be operated in a paid mode," the state—owned company said.

A barrier-free "Free Flow" payment system has been introduced on the highway. The price for travel on different sections for cars and motorcycles will range from 170 to 750 rubles.

The company also clarified alternative routes from Krasnodar to Crimea for drivers.: This is the federal highway A-146 Krasnodar — Verkhnebakansky, as well as the highway passing through the villages of Novomyshastovskaya and Temryuk.

On December 22, 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin opened the A-290 highway with access to the Crimean Bridge. The nearly 120-kilometer-long road includes ten new interchanges, 15 overpasses and 33 bridges.
