Sberbank announces the signing of a deal to acquire a block of shares in VisionLabs, a global leader of the facial recognition market.

The EIB will provide financing of EUR 30 million to medneo Group, a Berlin headquartered company providing innovative imaging diagnostics’ services and technology “as a service”.

The EIB transaction with Volvo Cars was made possible by the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI), which is the central pillar of the Investment Plan for Europe.
