OREANDA-NEWS KAMAZ completed 2025 with losses of 37 billion rubles. This is reported by TASS with reference to the company's financial statements.
The truck manufacturer's net losses according to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) increased 11-fold year-on-year.
At the same time, KAMAZ's revenue over the past year decreased by 2.5 percent, to 315.2 billion rubles. The company's gross profit dropped almost 32 times, to 757 million rubles. Instead of a profit of 909 million, the company received a loss on sales of 22.9 billion.
The losses of KAMAZ in the first nine months of 2025 amounted to 29.1 billion rubles. At the end of the summer, the company was preparing to switch to a three-day working week, but then the order to introduce it was canceled. Eventually, KAMAZ switched to a four-day schedule starting on August 1. The introduction of incomplete loading was explained by problems with sales and the crisis in the truck market, related, among other things, to the "short-sighted policy of importers of foreign equipment, who, despite all forecasts of a market decline, imported an excessive amount of it last year." The factories returned to the five-day period in early November.
