St. Petersburg Stock Exchange will not pay dividends for 2024

OREANDA-NEWS The Board of Directors of St. Petersburg Stock Exchange recommended not paying dividends based on the results of 2024. This is stated in the materials for the annual meeting of shareholders.
Earlier, the exchange reported that the AGM will be held on June 26 in an online format. The date on which the persons eligible to participate in it were determined was June 1.
A repeat meeting of shareholders is scheduled for June 27.
In 2024, the exchange received a net profit under IFRS in the amount of 1.07 billion rubles against 678 million rubles in 2023. The net loss under RAS decreased to 10.66 million rubles from 525.828 million rubles in 2023.
In November 2021, St. Petersburg Stock Exchange conducted an IPO, in which it placed 13.3% of the share capital. The exchange stated in its prospectus that it does not plan to pay dividends in the foreseeable future, but intends to use the proceeds to finance business expansion.
Evgeny Serdyukov, CEO of the trading platform, said in an interview with RBC in May 2024 that St. Petersburg Exchange was ready to consider changing its dividend policy in 2025.
