OREANDA-NEWS  The most expensive Russian football player Alexey Batrakov, who plays for Moscow's Lokomotiv, spoke about his salary. He is quoted by Soviet Sport.

20-year-old Batrakov noted that he studied the contract before signing it, but the salary does not play a decisive role for him. "The numbers are not particularly important to me right now. There have been offers from other Russian clubs, but so far I'm not really chasing this, I'm chasing football," he said.

In the current season of the Russian Premier League (RPL), Batrakov participated in 17 matches with Lokomotiv. In them, the midfielder scored 11 goals and provided 6 assists. At the moment, Batrakov is leading the RPL bombardier race.

In December, it was reported that Batrakov, who is the most expensive of the Russian football players, has risen in price even more. Transfrermarkt portal estimates the value of the midfielder at 25 million euros.
