OREANDA-NEWS About 30,000 sanctions have been imposed against Russia, all of which are illegal, said Dmitry Medvedev, chairman of the United Russia party.
"There are about 30 thousand unlawful, illegal sanctions from various states against our country. That is, those decisions that were taken not within the framework of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, but unilaterally or by several countries," Medvedev said at a meeting of the standing committee of the Forum of Supporters of the Struggle against Modern Practices of Neocolonialism – "For the Freedom of Nations!".
He noted that such a policy leads to an imbalance of the entire world trade system, and to counteract this kind of behavior, horizontal ties between the BRICS countries should be strengthened.
