OREANDA-NEWS  In Ishimbai, beavers staged a communal collapse. The Telegram channel Mash writes about the situation.

The animals have activated the communal services of the Bashkir city. Beavers are building a dam on the Tairuk River, which flows within Ishimbai. In the process, they managed to hammer branches into several pipes at the ferry. One of them became so clogged that there was a flood. The bypass road was flooded with water.

Later, however, the involvement of beavers in flooding was denied. The Bashinform newspaper, citing the republican Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, reported that the "affected" crossing was temporary and was organized for the duration of repair work on the main bridge. At the moment, the ferry is being dismantled, and the main bridge is being used for traffic — it is already functioning normally, the Ministry of Emergency Situations assured.

Earlier, beavers left four villages in the Leningrad region without electricity. Trees trampled by animals collapsed onto a power line. It was not easy to get to the accident site — the beavers built a dam so high that they had to use an excavator.
