OREANDA-NEWS  Singer and showman Prokhor Chaliapin spoke about his friendship with People's Artist of Russia Philip Kirkorov. He shared this in an interview with journalist Ksenia Sobchak, available on YouTube.

According to Chaliapin, he became friends with Kirkorov in the noughties. The actor noted that Philip gave him clothes and treated him like a brother.

"He told me: "You are my karmic brother." Because we have something in common," Chaliapin explained. At the same time, the singer stressed that he lacked flexibility and the ability to "bite his teeth" or "fall to his knees" if necessary, unlike Kirkorov.

The performer added that the friendship did not last long, because Philip Kirkorov saw him as a competitor. In addition, in 2007 Chaliapin became a participant in the conflict between Kirkorov and producer Yana Rudkovskaya. "They reconciled three days later, and I became the enemy," the singer said.

Earlier it was reported that Chaliapin called the actress Alla Pugacheva, who left Russia, an ambiguous figure. He noted that he did not agree with her position regarding the special military operation, but had no right to publicly insult the singer.
