OREANDA-NEWS There is growing concern in Europe about a possible new offensive by the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine. This is reported by Bloomberg.
"European leaders are increasingly afraid that Russia will launch a new offensive in Ukraine. (...) At a meeting of the Security Council in Toulon last week, German and French officials discussed the issue of the accumulation of Russian troops near Pokrovsk," the article says.
The publication notes that the transfer of the city under the control of the Russian Armed Forces will allow Russia to continue its offensive on the much larger Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky rejected the possibility of withdrawing troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from the territory of Donbass. "We cannot give up territories in any case," he said.
