Fifty Ukrainian servicemen captured in Chasovyi Yar

OREANDA-NEWS The Russian military captured about 50 servicemen of the armed forces of Ukraine in a Watch Pit in the DPR, and 65 civilians were taken out of the settlement, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
"More than 4,200 buildings and structures have been cleared from the enemy, about 50 Ukrainian servicemen have been captured, over 30 field artillery guns and 70 UAV crews have been destroyed. 65 civilians have been evacuated from the city," the report says.
"During the operation to liberate Chasa Yara, paratroopers from Ivanovo, Kostroma and Yaroslavl covered more than 20 kilometers under continuous artillery fire and attack UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the military said.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has distributed footage from the city taken under control, the Russian military deployed the Russian tricolor in different parts of the settlement.
Earlier on Thursday, the military department stated that during the offensive actions of the unit of the "Southern" group of troops, control was established over the town of Chasov Yar in the DPR.
