OREANDA-NEWS Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was asked if he was feeling nervous before the meeting of Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in Alaska. His words are quoted by TASS.
Lavrov joked in response to a question about mandraj before the summit with the United States. "And what is it?" he asked in response.
Earlier, Lavrov arrived in Alaska. Together with him, the Russian Ambassador to the United States, Alexander Darchiev, arrived in the American state.
Putin and Trump will arrive in Alaska on August 15, where they will hold bilateral talks. The leaders will discuss options for resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov and Presidential Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriev will also take part in the talks.
