OREANDA-NEWS  The trade turnover between Russia and Egypt increased by 12% in the first nine months of 2025, and the parties intend to further strengthen cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"In the first nine months, trade turnover increased by 12%," he said at a press conference following a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart.

He specified that in 2024, the countries' trade turnover amounted to 9.3 billion dollars. Lavrov also stressed the mutual desire to increase cooperation in the trade and economic sphere.
