OREANDA-NEWS President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a telephone conversation with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This is reported by the Telegram channel "Pool One".

The leaders of the two countries agreed that a delegation from Belarus would visit Kazakhstan in the near future and make specific proposals to deepen cooperation. The channel also reported that the presidents discussed the interstate agenda and key projects of relations between the republics.

Earlier, Lukashenko congratulated his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the people of Turkey on Republic Day. He noted that Turkey is following the path of innovation and reform, playing an important role in maintaining peace and stability in the region and on the world stage.

Prior to that, Lukashenko approved amendments to the agreement on freedom of movement concluded with Russia.
