OREANDA-NEWS   According to preliminary estimates, real wages have increased on average in Russia over the past year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.

"We observe that the high growth in wages has continued. The nominal salary, according to preliminary estimates, increased by 13.6%, while the real salary increased by 4.5% minus inflation," Novak said, speaking at the Federation Council.

The average monthly accrued salary of employees of organizations in 2024 was 89,069 rubles. This is an increase of 19% in nominal terms year-on-year and 9.7% in real terms.
