OREANDA-NEWS   To support the Russian chemical industry, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is implementing a comprehensive set of government support mechanisms, the ministry told RIA Novosti.

"The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia implements a comprehensive set of government support mechanisms aimed at improving the efficiency, technological level and competitiveness of the chemical industry at all stages of project implementation. Since the beginning of the national project "New Materials and Chemistry", the approach to selecting applications has been significantly strengthened: priority is given to projects with high innovation and proven market demand, primarily in segments critically important for high-tech sectors of the economy," the ministry explained.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation added that support measures for the country's chemical industry are formed taking into account the real needs of manufacturers and are adapted to the most pressing tasks of the industry. Thus, starting in 2026, in order to support the chemical industry and stimulate non-primary non-energy exports, the Ministry, together with the Russian Export Center (REC), plans to conduct a competitive selection for the provision of transport subsidies.
