"Nizhnekamskneftekhim" INC ecological activity and sustainable development results were highly appraised by the Expert Board and Jury of the National Ecology Prize “ EcoWorld ” : the Company was pronounced winner in the nomination “Ecological Science & Technologies” for successful implementation of the "2004-2008 Environmental Management Program" and "2007-2015 Ecological Program", reported the press-centre of Nizhnekamskneftekhim.

Heretofore, "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" INC was that prize winner three times.

V contest of the National Ecology Prize “EcoWorld' 2008” initiated by the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the Interregional Non-Government Organization “Charitable Initiatives Fund” was conducted with the Russian Federation Government support.

Representatives of 76 Russian Federation constituent entities, as well as of Belarus , Ukraine and Chile took part in the contest. 546 applications in five nominations were accepted for the Jury to review.
