OREANDA-NEWS. On 29 July 2008 was announced, that Alexander Varin, President of Prof-Media Broadcasting Corporation (VKPM) won Grand Prix of Media Manager Russia 2008, a national professional award. The award is conferred for professionalism and и неординарный, personal approach to management.

The award aims to celebrate the most significant events in the media business. It was established in 2001 by publisher MediaHouse and Media News, a professional magazine.

The VIII National Media Manager Russia 2008 Award ceremony took place on July 10 in Moscow.

The ceremony took place at the open yard of Moscow City Golf Club. Its guests featured officials, senior management of various corporations, radio broadcasting companies, publishers, media holding companies, and the largest PR- and advertizing agencies.

Popular Avtoradio anchors - Murzilki International - hosted the ceremony.

Alexander Varin has been the winner of prestigious Media Manager Russia award three times. This year, he was awarded the Grand Prix for his achievements in radio broadcasting business and his launch of new profitable projects every year.
