OREANDA-NEWS. On September 18, 2008 Presidium of Non-profit partnership "National Council on Corporate Governance" (NCCG) has made a decision to accept JSC WGC-3 as a member of NCCG, reported the press-centre of WGC-3.

WGC-3 is the firs Russian utilities company that joined NCCG after the reorganization of RAO UES Russia.

Yuri Sablukov, General Director of WGC-3, highlighted that substantial growth of capitalization and increase of investment attractiveness were the key targets for WGC-3 management. "NCCG entrance will let the Company to make the further improvements of it's corporate governance enriching it by practical examples", - Said Yuri Sablukov.

According to Sergey Porshakov, NCCG Executive Director, WGC-3 membership in NCCG "has become the national level recognition of high corporate governance standards and information policy established by WGC-3".
