OREANDA-NEWS. December 31, 2008. The Moscow GTU of the Bank of Russia has registered the decision on the additional issue of securities of Russian Regional Development Bank.

The additional issue shall increase the registered capital of RRDB by 223 million rubles.

The volume of the additional issue amounts to 22 306 of common uncertified stocks with par value of 10 000 rubles. The stock is to be placed via closed subscription; the placement price amounts to 49 313 rubles and the placement term is to be within six months from the state registration date.

The potential acquirer is oil company Rosneft, a major shareholder and strategic partner of Russian Regional Development Bank. It is expected that in case of purchase of stocks the share of OC Rosneft in the Bank’ capital will increase from 76,47% to 81,78%. RRDB’s own capital will thus grow by 1 099 million rubles, that is to about 4 billion rubles.
