OREANDA-NEWS. On January 26, 2009 The issue on allocation of US 10 billion for stabilization of the country’s economy during the global financial crisis was discussed at the meeting, reported the Official website www.akorda.kz.

President Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized that the first US 5 billion had been allocated for capitalization of the Samruk-Kazyna National Prosperity Fund in 2008.

This year, the Government is suggesting to invest one more US 5 billion in the Samruk-Kazyna NPF (KZT 480 billion) and KazAgro National Holding JSC (KZT 120 billion).

“The decision has been taken. We should direct the funds for the economic revival and support,” President Nursultan Nazarbayev highlighted in the course of the meeting.
