OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2009. Asaka Bank state joint-stock commercial bank issued credit for US14.58 million to Avtosteklo open joint-stock company to expand production capacity.

No details of the credit were revealed. The credit will be used to construct line on production of panoramic vehicle glasses with the capacity of 270,000 units a year.

Within the project, the enterprise plans to set new line of lamination, cutting and preliminary processes, as well as toughening oven. The project is carried out within localization programme of vehicle production in Uzbekistan.

The project will help to start production of glass for Lacetti cars of GM Uzbekistan and Isuzu lorries, assembled at SamAvto.
