OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2009.Oil Production. The production of the oil companies in the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 2,677,150 tons of crude oil in November and the crude oil production amounted to 29,750,952 802 tons for the period of eleven months, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The OAO TATNEFT Group of Companies produced 23,891 thousand tons during the period of eleven months with the above-the-plan production amounting to 415 thousand tons of crude oil.
OAO TATNEFT produced 2,127,767 tons of crude oil in November, which made 104.4% versus the month of November last year with the above-the-plan production amounting to 41,156 tons (101.97%). The amount of 2,079,595 tons of crude oil was delivered with the above-the-plan delivery amounting to 50,525 tons.

OAO TATNEFT produced 23,655,692 tons of crude oil during the eleven months period with the above-the-plan production amounting to 408,223 tons (101.76%). The amount of 23,460,345 tons of oil was delivered with the above-the-plan delivery volume amounting to 812,525 tons.

Drilling
The total penetration during the period of 11 months of 2009, taking into account the operation of OOO TNG-Lenburneft, amounted to 496 thousand meters (730 thousand meters during the period of 11 months in 2008) including 382 thousand meters for OAO TATNEFT (456 thousand meters during the period of 11 months in 2008), including 360 thousand meters of production drilling and 22 thousand meters of exploratory drilling; 35 thousand meters were penetrated for the subsidiary companies of OAO TATNEFT (39 thousand meters during the period of 11 months in 2008), including 12 thousand meters of production drilling and 23 thousand meters of exploratory drilling; 79 thousand meters were drilled for joint ventures and independent oil companies (235 thousand meters during the period of 11 months in 2008), including 71 thousand meters of production drilling and 8 thousand meters of exploratory drilling.

Totally 330 wells were constructed and handed over to customers (472 wells during the period of 11 months in 2008), including: 256 wells for OAO TATNEFT (287 wells during the period of 11 months in 2008), including 235 production wells and 21 exploratory wells; 22 wells were built for the subsidiary companies of OAO TATNEFT (22 wells during the period of 11 months in 2008), including 9 production wells and 13 exploratory wells; 52 wells were constructed for joint ventures and independent oil companies (163 wells during the period of 11 months in 2008) including 43 production wells and 9 exploratory wells.

34 crews of OOO Bureniye Company performed well drilling operations with application of traditional drilling techniques during the period of eleven months. Besides, one drilling crew performed works on construction of wells drilled in the underbalanced pressure mode for NGDU Bavlyneft. They penetrated 461,139 meters and handed over to customers 309 wells (683,517 meters drilled and 436 wells delivered in 2008), including 354,191 meters and 237 wells for OAO TATNEFT (436,679 meters drilled and 266 wells delivered in 2008). Production drilling for OAO TATNEFT amounted to 332.600 meters and 216 wells and exploratory drilling amounted to 21,591 meters and 21 wells. Four drilling crews operated in the territory of the Samara District. 48 thousand meters were penetrated outside the Republic of Tatarstan. 71.5 thousand meters were penetrated in horizontal wells and multilateral downhole splitters.

Penetration per one drilling crew amounted to 14 thousand meters during the period of 10 months and the penetration per crew also amounted to 14 thousand meters for the corresponding period of 2008.

Drilling operations of OOO Lenburneft with application of traditional drilling techniques were performed by 4 drilling crews. One crew was drilling a well for OAO Krasnoyarskgazprom Company in the Krasnoyarsk Area, while two crews were drilling wells for NGDU Leninogorskneft and one drilling crew performed drilling operations to the bituminous deposits at Ashalchinskoye field of NGDU Nurlatneft. 34,932 meters were penetrated and 21 wells were handed over to the customers during the period of 11 months of 2009, including 27,492 meters drilled and 19 wells handed over to OAO TATNEFT (the penetration amounted to 46,104 meters with delivery of 36 wells, including 19,235 meters drilled and 21 wells delivered to OAO TATNEFT during the corresponding period of 2008). 10 crews were engaged in drilling lateral and horizontal wellbores with 7 of them drilling horizontals and laterals for NGDUs of OAO TATNEFT and 3 crews performed drilling for outside companies in the territory of the Orenburg District. 25,830 meters were drilled and 73 wells were handed over to the customers during the period of 10 months, including 16,430 drilled and 54 wells delivered for OAO TATNEFT (19,772 meters were penetrated and 62 wells handed over to the customers during the corresponding period of 2008).

Wells Workover
788 well remedial operations were performed in November 2009 and 8,853 well remedial operations were performed during 11 months of 2009. 39 well remedial operations were performed in ZAO Tatneft-Samara (3 wells in November).

Well workover operations were performed at 1,854 wells during the period of 11 months (133 operations in November), including production string sealing in 285, wells; shutting-off individual layers and recompletion in other intervals in 310 wells; transfer of the wells into different categories and wells completion for injection in 120 wells; failure liquidation and cleaning of the electrical cable and the bottom hole areas in 308 wells; physical well abandonment and re-abandonment in 42 wells.

510 wells were worked over with application of coil tubing (48 wells in November), including 131 wells worked over through the annulus.

Hydrofracking operations were performed at 111 wells (5 wells in November) with cumulative incremental oil production amounting to 2,978 thousand tons.

16 slim holes were drilled and completed for OAO TATNEFT. Drilling operations at well No.35007 in NGDU Leninogorskneft have been finished and the well is in the process of completion at present.

33 wells were drilled and completed for small oil companies. One well is in the process of completion in OOO Bytex and 4 crews continue working on construction of the small diameter wells.

Works on oil recovery enhancement were performed at 1,564 wells (101 wells in November), including chemical treatment methods applied at 902 wells (58 wells in November).

The incremental oil production resulting from application of the enhanced oil recovery methods amounted to 2,257 thousand tons.

Operations for preparation and delivery of acid compositions were carried out at 1,827 wells during the period of ten months of 2009 and the production of chemical products amounted to 27 thousand 575 tons for the amount of 610 million rubles.
