OREANDA-NEWS. April 30, 2010. The former Moscow House of Photography located on Ostozhenka Street is to reopen on 14 July 2010.

According to Mayor Yuri Luzhkov, the building has been under construction for several years and its design has been changed several times.

The official emphasized that the main goal was to preserve the architectural image and the current infrastructure of central Moscow.

Construction work on the four-storey exhibition centre is close to an end. The first events are planned to be devoted to the year of France in Russia.

Besides, the Moscow House of Photography is to be renamed Multimedia Complex of Actual Arts.
