OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2010. The following is a response to the statement of the Krasnoyarsk Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service alleging that the company failed to provide information during an unscheduled inspection

Freight One considers it necessary to state that the special financial information requested by the office in November 2009 does not fall within the purview of the Freight One branch.

Given that the requested information falls outside the purview of Freight One’s Krasnoyarsk branch, the company notified the office in writing that it would be impossible to provide the information in three days and requested an extension. However, Freight One has not yet received a response to its official notification.

It is surprising that during the unscheduled inspection, the Krasnoyarsk Office of the FAS effectively went beyond the scope established by the FAS for such inspections, effectively turning it into a planned inspection and disrupting the operations of the branch. The Krasnoyarsk Office of the FAS has not yet provided a reasonable explanation for going beyond the objectives and scope of the inspection.

No written decision has been received on the imposition of the fine. Upon receipt of the notification of the fine, the decisions of the Krasnoyarsk Office of the FAS will be appealed in accordance with the established procedure.
