OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2010. Over 3.2 mln tons of oil were produced at the oilfields of Sorochinskneft (a subsidiary of TNK-BP) between January and April 2010 – 12.2% up on the same period last year, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

Gas production exceeded 248.9 mln cubic m, which was 12.3% more than in the first four months of 2009.

Sorochinskneft’s chief engineer Vitaliy Pshenichnikov noted that well interventions were performed in 191 wells in January-April this year.

Other factors that contributed towards such good results included the acquisition of new licence blocks and the application of modern technologies.
