OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2010. The Belarusian Agriculture Ministry plans to sign an investment agreement with Swiss TDF Ecotech AG on investments in the construction of biogas complexes; the government signed relevant resolution #1152.

“In the Minsk Region, the construction of biogas complexes is expected to cost 24 million euros. Three plants will be built based on Gastellovskoe, Snov and Lan-Nesvizh farm complexes,” a representative in the ministry told.

The Gastellovskoe biogas facility will cost 21 billion Belarusian rubles (Br), the capacity of the biogas unit is estimated at 33,000 cubic meters per day; its energy capacity is projected at 3 megawatts; the unit will be launched in 2011. The Snov facility, to be launched in 2010, will cost 18 billion rubles, and will have a capacity of 21,000 cubic meters of biogas and 2 megawatts. The Lan-Nesvizh unit will be completed in 2010 and will cost 15 billion rubles. The capacity of the complex is projected at 10,000 cubic meters of biogas a day; the power unit will have a capacity of 1 megawatt.

The original parameters are subject to change, the official at the ministry said.

“The ministry expects the investment agreement with TDF Ecotech AG to be signed in the near future,” he added.
