OREANDA-NEWS. December 22, 2010.  The Silver Threads 2010 National Conference of Corporate Media was held at the Rossiyskaya Gazeta press center in Moscow. As part of the Conference, the ceremony of awarding of the winners of the Silver Threads National Media Resource Contest was held, sponsored by the Academy of Communications and Information. 

In all, the awards of the Silver Threads National Media Resource Contest were extended to 64 corporate media of Russia in six main nominations: “Best Corporate Newspaper,” “Best Corporate Magazine,” “Best Corporate Website,” “Best Radio/TV Program”, “Best Intranet Portal,” and “Best Special Project in Corporate Communications,” and in additional nominations.

By decision of the contest’s Expert Panel, the N.W.Telecom official website was awarded with a Diploma in the additional nomination “High Level of Solutions to Corporate Problems.”

Among the winners are the websites of LUKOIL-West Siberia, RF Ministry of Energy (Moscow), Russian Federation Ministry of Finance (Moscow), ОАО Lentelefonstroy (St. Petersburg), SevZapNTTs (St. Petersburg) etc.

The N.W.Telecom official website registered under the domain name www.nwtelecom.ru is an important channel of the Company’s communication with the key audiences, i.e. investors, shareholders, customers, and partners. In 2010, the Internet users visited the website of North-West Telecom, including the branches’ websites,** over two million times monthly. The advanced navigation enables easy traveling between the website’s sections, quickly moving to any page needed or to the Company’s product websites***: www.avangarddsl.ru, www.avangard-tv.ru, www.aliance-pro.ru, www.avans-nw.ru.

N.W.Telecom is continuously improving its official Internet resource by updating the website style and adding new pages and sections. In 2010, the website of St. Petersburg United Branch started operation, where North-West Telecom subscribers living in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast can get information about N.W.Telecom services, tariffs, communication service payment collection points, and other information of interest ( see press release of July 14, 2010.) Also, the main page design of the branches’ websites was updated in September and October, 2010.
