OREANDA-NEWS. February 16, 2011. Belarusian foreign trade deficit amounted to USD 7.426 billion in 2010, compared to a deficit of USD 5.518 billion in 2009, according to the website of the National Bank of Belarus.

Overall turnover of commodities and services reached USD 67.078 billion in January-December 2010, up 21.4% on the year.

Exports of commodities and services increased 20% to USD 29.826 billion, and imports increased 22.6% to USD 37.252 billion.

Commodity trade deficit reached USD 9.118 billion in 2010 (USD 25.348 billion of exports and USD 34.466 billion of imports), and service trade surplus amounted to USD 1.693 billion (USD 4.478 billion of exports and USD 2.786 billion of imports).
