OREANDA-NEWS. March 10, 2011. Banco Bradesco receives a AAA+ rating in sustainability from Management & Excellence (Sao Paulo, Madrid) covering 592 standards and strategic areas. Bradesco has retained this maximum score since its first rating in 2006, when it was the first bank in Brazil to be rated in all areas of sustainability.

Based on its 2009 AAA+ rating, Banco Bradesco´s “Sustainability Value Added SVA™” was valued at RUSD 3.19bn effective 31 December 2009. SVA measures the contribution of sustainability to the total market cap of the Bank (RUSD 103.19bn. on 31.12.2009), which is 3.8%. SVA is based on Dow Jones Sustainability World, MSCI World, market cap and M&E rating data.
