OREANDA-NEWS. March 23, 2011. Sviaz-Bank acted as paying agent for CenterTelecom OJSC that authorized it to pay interest on the ninth coupon and redeem 30% of the par value of the company’s Series 05 bonds, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

The holders of CenterTelecom’s Series 05 bonds were paid coupon interest at a rate of 9.3% per annum, or 32 rubles 46 kopecks per bond, and 30% of the par value, or 300 rubles, per security in accordance the debt repayment schedule. With taxes withheld, the total amount of 997,376,490 rubles was paid out.

CenterTelecom OJSC floated its five-year Series 05 bond issue on September 5, 2006 to raise 3billion rubles. As the company offered in the option, bonds were retired at 100% of their par value before maturity, on September 4, 2008.
