Karcher Moldova Increases Its Turnover by 15
OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2011. The Karcher Moldova Director Igor Grecov told that in 2011 the company plans to bring sales to the before-crisis level (in 2009, the turnover reduced by 30%), and by 2015 – to increase the turnover twice.
He said the company had invested about 1 million euros into purchase of trade and service equipment, equipment of shops, advertisement and brand promotion when it opened the official representative office in Moldova last year.
According to Igor Grecov, Karcher takes over 80% of the professional parts-washing and cleaning equipment segment in Moldova. At the same time, Karcher sales are realized in three segments - household appliances (46% of sales), professional equipment (46%) and after-sale service (8%). In addition to three existing Karcher centers in Chisinau, a Karcher center will be soon opened in Balti and another one will open in Cahul in 2012.
The company also plans to open an Internet-shot, which will work within the single standard of Karcher.
