OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2011. In 2012 the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine is going to enter mandatory ecological audit for the industrial enterprises. The Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Mykola Zlochevskiy said that the Ministry finished development of a procedure of carrying out of ecological audit.

"I am convinced, that this initiative would not meet resistance from owners of the industrial enterprises, - the Minister noted, - in fact it is a question, in particular, about security of manufacture. For example, if ecological audit has been lead at all coal enterprises of the country, it would be possible to avoid many accidents through which miners die".

Besides it Mykola Zlochevskiy noted, that from 2013 year 50 % of deductions of the enterprises to the State ecological fund will remain at the disposal of payers of the ecological tax. Consequently, ecological audit will specify the main problems which should be solved to the enterprises due to these means.
