SENIM-BANK Informs on Its License
OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2011. SENIM-BANK (Almaty region), whose shares are officially listed at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with a copy of Resolution # 92 of the Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Suspension of the License for Banking and Other Operations and Stock Market Transactions issue to JSC SENIM-BANK, in particular with regard to taking deposits, opening of individual bank accounts", reported the press-centre of KASE.
According to the mentioned document the Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan has resolved:
1. Due to non-fulfillment by the major shareholder of the Bank, a physical person, who directly holds more than twenty five percent of voting and outstanding (except for preferred shares and shares bought back by the Bank) shares of the Bank, of requirements set in sub-item 3) item 3 of Resolution # 140 dated September 2, 2008 of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations - "On Minimum Sizes of Authorized Capital and Equity Capital of Second-Tier Banks" registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan under # 5339, concerning increasing of the Bank's equity capital, to suspend the License for three months, in terms of taking deposits, opening of individual bank accounts.

Additionally, SENIM-BANK has by an official letter informed KASE, that "the suspension carries a temporary character and applies to newly opened individual accounts. Accounts of legal entities and physical persons opened previously, are operated by the Banks as usual. We will resume work with accounts of fresh individuals immediately after refill of the authorized capital".
