Reference is made to the monthly returns of equity issuer on movements in securities for the two months ended 30 June 2011 and 31 July 2011 (the “Monthly Returns”) submitted and published by the Angang Steel Company Limited “Company”) on 6 July 2011 and 4 August 2011, respectively, reported the press-centre of Angang Steel Company.

The Company wishes to clarify certain typo errors made in the Monthly Returns. The currency denomination of the par value of the H shares of the Company should be “RMB” instead of “USD” in the English version of the Monthly Returns.
