About 27% of enterprises registered in 2011 work in the retail trade, 15% - operations with real estate, 12% - wholesale, 6% - processing industry, 5% - automobile business, 4% - hotel-restaurant business, 4% - transport field, 4% - agriculture. By 1 October 2011, there were 159,830 enterprises operating in Moldova.
