Belarus Reduces Oil Export Duties
OREANDA-NEWS. November 03, 2011. Belarus reduced export duties on oil and oil products. The relevant decision is laid down by government resolution No. 1458 of 28 October 2011.
The crude oil export duty is reduced from USD 411.4 to USD 393 per tonne. The unified export duties on light and dark oil products (apart from petrol) will make up USD 259.3 per tonne against USD 271.5 in October. The same duty is set on benzol, toluene and xylene. The export duties on commercial gasoline and directly distilled gasoline went down to USD 353.7 per tonne from USD 370.2 in October.
The duty on propane, butanes, ethylene, propylene and butadiene, other liquefied gases will make up USD 236.5.
The abovementioned resolution introduced amendments to Resolution No. 1932 of the Council of Ministers of 31 December 2010 “On setting export duties on crude oil and some oil products and on abolishing some resolutions of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus”. The document was passed in line with Decree No. 716 of 31 December 2010 “On export duties”.
