OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2011. Nanjing Iron and Steel United Co Ltd is expected to produce 7.68 million tons crude steel, 7.26 million tons of pig iron and 6.80 million tons of steel products this year, all setting new records, and is set to produce 7.8 million tons of crude steel, 7.02 million tons of pig iron and 7 million tons of steel products in 2012.

The company has market share of more than 30 percent in terms of bearing steel wire rod and has the largest presence at home with its T91 steel used by ultra-supercritical pressure boiler pipes.
