OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2011. UkrSibbank BNP Paribas Group has won the 1st place in “Entrepreneurs Friendly Bank” nomination in “Ukrainian Banker Awards 2011” by the Investgazeta weekly newspaper, reported the press-centre of UkrSibbank.
 
The winner was determined by the results of a three-stage contest. Initially, a two-month vote on a newspaper’s website selected the best 15 banks. During the second stage, major Ukrainian entrepreneurs voiced their preferences in an opinion poll. And finally, the matter was brought to the participants of the 6th Annual Ukrainian Banking Forum (Adam Smith Conferences) who had questionnaires to fill out. As a result, several thousand questionnaires have been analyzed.
 
“Entrepreneurs have always been the cornerstone for development of the country’s economy. We understand this and try to support them offering the most favorable conditions and products,” said Philippe Joannier, the Chairman of the Management Board of UkrSibbank BNP Paribas Group.
