OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2012. IBA received a reference from the Mogilev Locomotive Depot on automation of learning and testing of locomotive crews based on e-University, the IBA proprietary software platform, reported the press-centre of IBA.

The Mogilev Locomotive Depot management was looking for a software product from a Belarusian producer to automate the processes of learning and knowledge control of its employees. According to Alexander Rusinovsky, Head of Mogilev Locomotive Depot, IBA’s e-University was chosen as a powerful and promising network educational platform.

In his reference, Rusinovski says: “Having mastered the e-University software, the locomotive crews and their instructors undergo training and knowledge control to a high standard. The education of our specialists based on e-University allows them to upgrade their professional skills of driving trains and thus provide the advanced traffic safety.”

Rusinovsky expressed satisfaction with accurate and constructive work of IBA specialists during all stages of the product implementation. He also expressed hope that the IBA product will be implemented throughout the departments of Belarusian Railway to be used for training and testing of its employees.

He adds: “Using e-University as a single network of training services throughout the departments of Belarusian Railway, including industry and vocational schools will bring the system of professional and continuing education to a higher qualitative level.”
