Ukraine to Increase Contributions to Budget by Reducing Shadow Economy
OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2012. The State Tax Service of Ukraine is to increase contributions to the state budget by reducing the shadow economy, rather than increasing the fiscal burden, the head of the State Tax Service Oleksandr Klymenko said.
"We are talking only about the de-shadowing, through which we can get more money. What this will be the amount and how they will be distributed, that is the question to the Minister of Finance. We have provided our analytical outlook," - he said.
As it was reported, the Verkhovna Rada on April 13 adopted the proposed by the Government changes to the State budget 2012 regarding the implementation of social initiatives of President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich, in particular, the income and expenditure budget increased by 33.35 billion UAH - in accordance to 366.17 billion UAH and 391.36 billion UAH, thus limiting the size of the deficit was not changed. General fund revenues are increased by 28.8 billion UAH.
