OREANDA-NEWS. May 17, 2012. Adjusted to inflation, it grew 4,1% in real terms. The average wage was2957,5 leis if the budget sector and 3423,6 leis in the real sector, growing 11,9% and 8,8% respectively.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the highest average salary was paid to workers of the banking sector and made 7214,8 leis(+15,6% against March, 2011). The average wage at heat-, power- and water -supplying companies made up 5263,4 leis (+6,6%) .The average wage at realtor companies amounted to 4134,3 leis (+ 7,3% against March , 2011).

The highest rates of growth in salaries was recorded in the sector of public administration where it made up 15% and reached 3732,2 leis.

The lowest average wages were given to workers of fishery and made 1581,7 leis (+4,7%), and to farmers and workers of forestry, being 1951,4 leis (+10,9%).
