OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2012. EBRD Annual Meeting and Business Forum took place in London on 18-19 May 2012. The event raised important global topics: changes during economic turbulence, financing and investment in the context of crisis and economic instability, capital markets in the national currencies in transition economies and many others.

The programmes of EBRD Annual Meeting and Business Forum have been updated to meet the interests and requirements of contemporary investors and business representatives. This year all events have been focused on economic prospects and investment potential and provided opportunities to meet with key global leaders of public opinion and decision makers.

SCM was represented at the event by  Jock Mendoza-Wilson, Director of International and Investor Relations who gave the following comments:"This year economic growth prospects in Eastern Europe and Ukraine are still positive and investors are still taking an interest in the region, which provides wide opportunities and keeps developing.
