OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2012. A.V. Galakhov was appointed Corporate Business Deputy Director General of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company.

Alexey V. Galakhov was born on September 20, 1970 in Moscow. In 1996 he graduated from Moscow State Law Academy majoring in Law. In the same year he studied at SWISS RE office in Switzerland during two months. It is interesting that A.V. Galakhov began his carrier in 1991 just in Ingosstrakh Insurance Company. For 9 years of work in the company he worked his way up from Economist to Head of the Department for Management Companies Liability Insurance against Fire and Allied Risks. From 2000 to 2002 he was First Deputy Director General of “Ingosstrakh-Russia” JSIC (since March 2002 – “Russia” OJSIC) where he was in charge of property insurance, reinsurance, voluntary medical insurance, and dealt with the issues of the development and implementation of new insurance products and programs. In 2002-2003 he was Assistant Counselor to Chairman of the Board of “NIKoil Investment Banking Group” JSB. In 2003-2005 he worked in “Uralsib” Insurance Group as Counselor to Director General, and then as Executive Director and Manager of Corporate Insurance Business Line. In September 2005 he was appointed Deputy Director General in “Russia” OJSIC where during 2 years he headed the central front office – Corporate and Retail Sales, from 2007 he controlled Corporate Insurance line, and from 2009 – headed the Ural Regional Directorate which included branches in Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, Nizhnevartovsk, and Surgut. In April 2011 he was employed by “Energogarant” as Insurance Deputy Director General where he had overall management of all insurance divisions of the head company and worked on the implementation of hazardous industrial facility project.

Alexey Galakhov has been working in insurance filed for over 20 years and gathered impressive professional and managerial experience. In Ingosstrakh Insurance Company he will head the corporative unit.
