OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2012. CMEC International Exhibition Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CMEC Exhibition Company”) and Xinjiang International Expo Administration held a signing ceremony in a meeting room of Kunlun Hotel in Urumqi, Xinjiang for the project of exhibits arrangement in the large machinery section (including engineering machinery) from the second to the fifth China-Eurasia Expo, reported the press-centre of CMEC.

The ceremony was attended by Director Li Jingyuan, Deputy Director Chen Ji, and Assistant Director Xiadiya Abulahaiti of Xinjiang International Expo Administration, as well as CMEC Vice President Zhang Jianguo, and General Manager Zhang Li, and Deputy General Manager Wu Chupeng of the CMEC Exhibition Company. Deputy Director Chen Ji and General Manager Zhang Li signed the contract on behalf of the two sides respectively.
 
Vice President Zhang Jianguo and Director Li Jingyuan delivered speeches on behalf of the two sides respectively. Vice President Zhang congratulated on the signing of the contract in the first place, and then expressed his thanks for the help that Xinjiang International Expo Administration had given to CMEC Exhibition Company. He also indicated the direction for the future cooperation between the two sides. Director Li spoke highly of great efforts CMEC Exhibition Company made in the first China-Eurasia Expo last year, and expressed his hope to see the establishment of a strategic partnership between the two sides in the future.
 
The China-Eurasia Expo is sponsored by 29 ministries and commissions of China including the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, co-sponsored by 22 provinces and municipalities such as Shanghai and Beijing, and organized by 11 organizations such as the Commerce Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the Bureau of Commerce of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, with the assistance of commerce and trade promotion authorities of neighboring countries. On the China-Eurasia Expo Organizing Committee, Vice Premier Wang Qishan serves as the Honorary Director, and Nur Bekri, Chairman of the People’s Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Chen Deming, Minister of Commerce jointly serve as Directors.
 
CMEC Exhibition Company won the bid to arrange exhibits in the large machinery section (including engineering machinery) at the first China-Eurasia Expo in June, 2011, and accomplished its task successfully later in September. The bidding of this year is also for exhibits arrangement in that section but it is for the next four years, namely from the second to the fifth China-Eurasia Expo. CMEC Exhibition Company stood out in the fierce competition and won the bidding, which will help it to enhance its popularity in the exhibition industry at home and abroad, but also lay a solid foundation for its diversified development.
