OREANDA-NEWS. July 03, 2012. Russian Technologies State corporation presented by its affiliate leasing company JSC “Aviacapital-Service” and IRKUT, subsidiary of JSC “United Aircraft Corporation” signed a contract for delivery of 35 MC-21 aircraft, reported the press-centre of UAC.

The contract was signed in presence of the Minister of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov and the President of JSC “United Aircraft Corporation” Mikhail Pogosyan. General Director of JSC “Aviacapital-Service” Roman Pakhomov signed on behalf of the customer, President of IRKUT Alexey Fedorov on behalf of the manufacturer.

According to the Agreement IRKUT will deliver 35 MC-21, 18 МС-21-200 and 17 МС-21-300 starting from 2022 till 2025.

The Contract list price is USD2.23 billion, it reads that aircraft will be equipped with PD-14 engines produced by JSC “United Engine Corporation”.

Mainly state Customers are supposed to operate the aircraft.
