These data are released by the Main State Tax Inspectorate, noting that the maximum amount of their payments in the amount of 717 million lei was recorded in 2008.

In 2009 contributions to of farmers to the budget amounted to 668 million lei, in 2010 - 534 million lei, in 2011 - 492 million lei. In the I half of 2012 these payments amounted to 225 million lei against 196 million lei in the same period last year. The MSTI emphasizes that the amount of VAT paid by farmers in 2007-2009 increased steadily, rising from 220 million lei in 2007 to 274 million lei in 2009, at the same time, in 2010 they amounted to 109 million lei, while in 2011 - 53 million lei. In particular, in January-June this year VAT payments made 18 million lei, while during the same period last year, they were 25 million lei.

According to the MSTI, during the period from 2007 to I half of 2012 of the fund of agricultural subsidies amounted to 2 billion 788 million lei. In particular, in 2007 - 515 million lei, in 2008 - 513 million lei, in 2009 - 559 million lei, in 2010 - 400 million lei, in 2011 - 400 million . lei in 2012 (plan) - 400 million lei.
